Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Maldon Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us") processes personal data when you use Clipora AI — our mobile apps, web app, and related services.

• Account details — email address, display name, and authentication identifiers (including any social sign-in you use).
• Your Content — video, audio, and text you upload for editing, plus the settings you choose (target format, tone, language).
• Usage & device data — actions in the app, device type, app version, and diagnostic events used to fix bugs and improve the product.
• Campaign attribution — where consent is given, we capture UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content) from links you follow, so we can attribute sign-ups to campaigns.
• Referrals — if you invite a friend or accept an invite, we record the referral code, the parties involved, and fraud-prevention signals (such as IP and device fingerprint).
• Payments — if you buy credits or a subscription, our payment processor handles card data; we store the transaction metadata (plan, amount, status).

• To provide and operate the Service — running edits, exporting videos, managing your account.
• To keep the Service secure and to detect abuse or fraud.
• To measure how the Service is used so we can improve it.
• To communicate with you about your account, purchases, and important updates.
• To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

You can review and change your analytics and tracking preferences at any time on the Privacy settings page. From there you can turn off UTM collection and product-event uploads for this device.

To ask us to delete your account and associated content, submit a data deletion request. You can also request a copy of your account data by emailing privacy@cliporaedit.com.

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Clipora AI (for example: cloud hosting, payment processing, AI model providers, email delivery), and only to the extent needed to provide the Service. These providers act as processors under written agreements.

We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded footage is retained only for as long as needed to produce and deliver your export, plus a short buffer for support and abuse review. When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records (for example, billing history).

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and role-based permissions in our backend. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — please use a strong, unique password.

Depending on where you are, your data may be processed on servers located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for those transfers.

Clipora AI is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we make material changes we'll update the effective date and, for significant changes, notify you in-app or by email.
